This is a no frills bar with 4.25 drafts and a grizzled and weathered clientele. Has that smoky bar atmosphere so not for kids and they do not serve food. Had some nice conversations with the tourists . The staff was nice . Pretty much everyone was drunk but that was probably because of the 46-9 detroit thrashing of the cowboys.

I cant express enough how awesome this place is. Before hurricane Harvey I lived in Rockport and the owner was one of my usual bartenders at another location. After Harvey it was amazing to see the healing and how much everyone came together to rebuild the town and try to exceed the sadness of loss. Rock Bottom is a symbol of what falls down can be built even better and a place where locals and tourists can enjoy drinks, food, games, and great conversation. Def a must visit location in Rockport!!!

Awesome place on Tuesday afternoon! $2 craft beers. Includes yellow rose ipa. Nueces ipa, crackberry cider, bombshell blonde... The place is packed with people playing board games and more at 3pm on a Tuesday. Come here and enjoy!

I can't say a single bad thing about this place! Bea, Tasha and Nicole plus the rest of the stuff always keep this place packed with bands, djs, events and the drinks are always cold! This is a must stop when you are visiting Rockport and want a cold beer! Plus their food truck has some great food!

The bartenders were amazing. They were quick and very friendly. I love the beer options and they have a nice atmosphere. They do not offer food but the restaurant next door will bring it over to the bar it you want to stay there.

If I go to a bar in Rockport, this is my first pick. It's pretty laid back and mostly locals who are there to do their thing. There is plenty of friendly bar staff, and they serve up the drinks quickly. There is one guy that has a scowl on his face and isn't very talkative for bar staff, but he served the order just as quickly and I wasn't there to form a lasting friendship with the dude so it was mutual and I still enjoyed the place.

My hubs inadvertently ordered me a Bloody Mary while I was in the clean, cutely decorated restroom, and this one was perfect. Relaxed fun atmosphere, pool tables, happy hours, perfect location.

**Disclaimer-I am not a fan of shellfish! However I found food i can eat here and my team of eaters raved about the shellfish! Crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn. And they have live music. Worth the $$$

In the next room adjacent to the bar area, there are pool tables and dining tables. Since a wall divides the two rooms, you cant see into the bar area where the entertainment is located. Minus one star for that. They should have no wall or if load bearing, a half wall or something that allows you to view the bar area so you can flag down a waiter as your kinda outta sight/ outta mind. Plus you could see to enjoy the live music. Will go back for sure.

Cozy fun spot for live music and drinks. The bar is located in what I would call the strip area of Rockport near the entertainment district. Theres a large outdoor area on the side of the indoor section that has both covered and non covered spaces. Happened to pop in for a quick drink at the right time and got to meet the famous Baby Girl. Shes super sweet and likes to be dressed up. The next day, I saw her riding on a motorcycle with her dad. Shes adorable! Be safe, Baby Girl.

I don't drink beer but it looked like they had some small brew brands in addition to the usuals. They have pool tables and an outdoor area, too. Definitely check out this great spot when you're downtown. Or make plans to show up for a night out with friends.

5 Star Dive Bar... I was visiting Rockport for a few weeks. Rock Bottom is the best local bar and they welcome tourists. Manager and Bartenders are really fun and outgoing. Great drinks & live entertainment. Dog friendly too. Gypsy and I had a great time.

Great place.. I'm new to Rockport.. I'm a coastal gal my whole life..but just not so far south...Man! Super nice people on staff.. terrific specials..especially TUESDAYS..it's 2 Dollar Tues. All draft beer is 2 bucks all day..and they dont have your typical domestics either.. there's a large variety of imports. I got to try 3 different brands from Pilsners to IPA'S ....coming back next Tues. to try a few more..kareoke had some impressive amatures. They have a cool food truck with reasonable prices ..burgers and comfort food. The outdoor smoking area is always fun to hang out with locals. I'm well on my way to call myself a " regular" Laid back and friendly..pool tables and live bands. Yay! Rock Bottom is within walking distance from my home... they'll be seeing a lot more from this gal!

Went to Rockport this weekend just to get away. Found this bar after dinner, music was good, bartenders were awesome and the crowd was friendly. My boyfriend lost his wallet (he thought he dropped it outside the restaurant we had gone to before the bar). We figured it was gone forever until we went back to the Rock bottom bar the next night. One of the bartenders, Savannah, saw us and said, I have your wallet. We were so happy, the cash and cards were still in the wallet! This says a lot about this town and the people in it! We will definitely be back!! Thanks again, Savannah and the person who turned in the wallet!

My favorite part of coming here is the epic Bloody Mary. Its possible to social distance as well if you sit further to the back. Overall, good vibe here during the early happy hour times 2-4pm.

My boyfriend lost his wallet (he thought he dropped it outside the restaurant we had gone to before the bar). We figured it was gone forever until we went back to the Rock bottom bar the next night. One of the bartenders, Savannah, saw us and said, “I have your wallet”. We were so happy, the cash and cards were still in the wallet! This says a lot about this town and the people in it! We will definitely be back!! Thanks again, Savannah and the person who turned in the wallet!

One of the coolest places I've been to in rockport

Great place.. I'm new to Rockport.. I'm a coastal gal my whole life..but just not so far south...Man! Super nice people on staff.. terrific specials..especially TUESDAYS..it's 2 Dollar Tues. All draft beer is 2 bucks all day..and they dont have your typical domestics either.. there's a large variety of imports. I got to try 3 different brands from Pilsners to IPA'S ....coming back next Tues. to try a few more..kareoke had some impressive amatures. They have a cool food truck with reasonable prices ..burgers and comfort food. The outdoor smoking area is always fun to hang out with locals. I'm well on my way to call myself a " regular" Laid back and friendly..pool tables and live bands. Yay! Rock Bottom is within walking distance from my home... they'll be seeing a lot more from this gal!

Strong drinks. Great owner/ bar tender. Get your drink on.

5 Star Dive Bar... I was visiting Rockport for a few weeks. Rock Bottom is the best local bar and they welcome tourists. Manager and Bartenders are really fun and outgoing. Great drinks & live entertainment. Dog friendly too. Gypsy and I had a great time.

Good selection of craft beer on tap. Specials on Tuesday were a nice surprise. We had two waitresses and they were both excellent. They have done a nice job decorating for Christmas. I only wish they could serve food as was originally intended. We will definitely be back for drinks.

My first visit gets a 4 outta 5. There was nothing wrong with my visit....I had a great time!! The place is just awesome, I cant wait to go back and drink with the family and friends. The barkeep Sidney is a real good time, the bar didn't have much for usual domestic beers on tap but she gave us some samples of some beers she believed would satisfy the thirst and she was on point. The Bombshell Blonde is what we went for, we also had some Jameson pickle back shots, and my sister liked the pickle juice but it wasn't "tickling my pickle" so to speak but it was still good. Cant wait to go back.

Nice bar. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. And if you manage to make it in on her shift, Cindy makes for really nice scenery.

Best bar around, excellent service bartenders are quick and remember your drink. Food trucks outside make it easy to get a bite too eat and they allow you too eat inside there bar. Top notch security they watch out and pay attention. Bathrooms are always clean and the live music is always great performers. They have Pool tables and a lot of seating for all. For the smokers this place allows smoking inside but the ventilation system in here is outstanding for the non smokers , you can't even tell people are smoking. Don't cross the bridge to corpus Christi everything you need is here in Rockport Texas.

The live music and local crowd blew my mind. Living in Austin I have seen my share of live music and this cover band playing the night I was there has to be in a league of their own. I would make the drive out there just to hang out with the mellow local crowd and hear these guys blow the roof off! I hope they play there often. Bartenders are at the top of their game as well! Tip the band for sure

Fun place to come hang out with friends and listen to live music but it can get very very packed. Drinks might seem a bit pricey at first but I promise the drinks are strong enough to make it worth it. Bartenders are super nice and everyone is friendly.

This bar is a lot of fun! The service has always been great and their drink selection is broad. I love that dogs are allowed.

Awesome bar, just had their 1 yr anniversary at end of April, 2019. 2 rooms, 1 bar room and happy hour singing, other is larger groups/billiards room with tight, very good shape tables and good local competition. Some nights are karaoke. Good drink prices and happy hour as well.
